This is what we, Pam & I, recall as being MGM Studios, now simply called Hollywood. Appropriately now, as its main themes are films, with a huge emphasis this visit on Star Wars. Some of the old rides/activities are still there but some sadly confined to the scrap heap. Two that have gone which we thoroughly enjoyed were, the "Backstage Lot" and "Cars" the latter a fast action stunt show involving cars as the main characters. We have watched this on several occasions both here in Orlando and at Paris. When ever we visit MGM/Hollywood, especially in Paris, the place is undergoing alterations, with parts of the park looking like your typical construction site - boardings everywhere. We still enjoyed our day here, especially as it was topped off with a visit to "Fantasmic". This is a stunning evening, outdoor, show, with pyrotechnics, music and scenes projected onto water. It didn't fail to amaze, even though we had seen it on a previous visit. Above: A scrolling montage of "Hollywood Studios".
