With the virus still active but under some control, thanks largely to the sensible part of the population, we were able to celebrate Jacobs 21st birthday. Mum had organised a house party, which the weather thankfully did its part to make possible, at which Jacobs work friends, relatives and neighbours were invited. What was intended as a surprise did not work out as such for Kirsty, but it was still a great afternoon with a chance to meet up and chat and of course celebrate our grandson’s milestone birthday.
